BIOGRAPHY

Agnese Grieco- writer, director, dramaturg and translator- was born in Milan. She attended the Ginnasio Giovanni Berchet and studied philosophy at the Università degli studi di Milano. Thanks to a research fellowship of the Ministero della Ricerca Scientifica she obtained a doctorate at the Freie Universität Berlin. 

 

 

After that, she worked as a philosophy professor at the University of Milan and as a Dramaturgy professor at the University of Ferrara and the Teatro Stabile of Turin. Furthermore she was the creative director of the Rampe theatre of Stuttgart.

 

 

Since 2006 she has been an associate member of the ICI Berlin Institute for Cultural Inquiry. Agnese Grieco lives in Berlin with her husband and her son.
